Known as “The Gateway to the Small Isles”, Arisaig Marine provides the perfect sheltered base from which to explore the West Coast of Scotland.
Arisaig lies at the head of Loch Nan Ceall, the entrance is now well marked and easy to enter and the bay provides good shelter from most wind directions. There are currently sixty professionally checked swinging moorings which are available from a nightly basis through to the full season.
Arisaig Marine offer a comprehensive service to resident and visiting yachts and retain the personal touch of a small family run business. Major works and considerable investment have resulted in some excellent new shore side facilities. The showers and laundrette have been a very welcome addition to the harbour, and the Tea Room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the stunning views across the water to the island of Eigg, (and sample the delicious home baking!).
The Chandlery and Gift Shop are still in their infancy but the aim is to provide a well-stocked range of essential spares and unique gifts. The newly built insulated shed gives the sixty boats that currently over winter at Arisaig the opportunity to book there boat inside for a spell to carry our repairs or touch up their paintwork. All in all Arisaig makes a very attractive place to base your boat and is growing in popularity every year.
The pontoon landing at the Harbour can be used for loading / unloading, and crew changes. Water is available at the pontoon and diesel can be supplied if you contact the Harbour Office.
Mooring fees include use of the harbour amenities. Please note that there is a nominal daily charge of £4.00 for other vessels utilising the harbour facilities; this goes towards the up keep of the channel markings, landing facilities, water and refuse charges etc. (This does not include parking).
We have our own private car parking at the harbour where you can arrange to leave your car whilst cruising. However, as there are boats and machinery being moved around the yard all year, please ensure that you check with the Harbour Office in advance so as not to block access. Whilst it has not been known for us to have any problems, vehicles and contents are left at the owners risk.
An engineer is based on site and GRP, sail repairs, carpentry work etc. can all be arranged.
On site we have a 20-ton Roodberg Boat Trailer; this has proved a great asset. As well as taking out boats for winter storage, we can take a vessel out at any time to assess damage or to carry out any mid-season remedial work.
